Arsenal Trash Chelsea in Pre-Season Friendly Thanks to Gabriel Jesus

Gabriel Jesus joined Arsenal from Man City earlier this summer, and this signing is already paying off. The Gunners faced Chelsea in a pre-season friendly at Orlando's Camping World Stadium on Saturday and scored an easy 4-0 win thanks to their new striker. Gabriel Jesus proved he’s worth every penny that Arsenal paid to get him on board when he scored an opener against Chelsea, 16 minutes into the game. The sky was the limit for the Gunners from that point on, and they managed to win 4-0 after Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, and Albert Sambi Lokonga scored another three goals for Mikel Arteta’s side. This disappointing match casts a shadow of a doubt over Chelsea’s hopes next season, and even the boss Thomas Tuchel isn’t sure they’ll be ready for their Premier League opener against Everton on August 6. "I am far from relaxed. We were simply not good enough. We were simply not competitive… It was surely not our strongest line-up. This is a part of an explanation but only a little part and the other part is worrying. I cannot guarantee we will be ready in two weeks," said Tuchel. As for Arsenal, their Premier League opener is taking place on August 5, and they’re set to face Crystal Palace in their first match of the season.
