Bernardo Silva Signs Extension with Man City Amid Saudi Interests

Several international clubs have shown interest in Bernardo Silva, including the Saudi side Al-Hilal, but he’s not going anywhere! The Portuguese midfielder signed a one-year contract extension with Manchester City, which runs until at least 2026. Silva has been linked to everyone from Barcelona and Paris St-Germain to the Saudi club Al-Hilal, but he’s staying in Manchester! The 29-year-old has been with the Premier League and European champions since 2017, and he decided that sticking around with Man City was his best option. Silva said that he had six incredible years at Manchester City, and added he’s looking forward to making even more great memories with his teammates and fans after deciding to extend his stay. "Winning the Treble last season was extremely special and it's exciting to be part of a squad where there is such a hunger and passion. Success makes you want even more, and this club gives me that opportunity to keep on winning,” said Silva. Silva’s time with Man City was truly unforgettable, and he scored 55 goals in 308 appearances while helping the team win five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and the Champions League. Just last season, they completed the historic Treble, after being crowned Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League champions.
