Chelsea Kicks Off Championship League with a Shock Defeat to Dinamo

Chelsea entered their first Championship League match as a clear favorite, but this game resulted in a shocking defeat. The Blues suffered a big blow after failing to stand their ground to Dinamo Zagreb and eventually lost 1-0 on Tuesday. Dinamo had a home advantage in this match, which took place at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb, Croatia. This gave them a push in the right direction, and Mislav Orsic opened the scoring 13 minutes into the game. Chelsea spent the rest of the match struggling to make a comeback and handed Dinamo an easy victory on the opening day of the Championship League. Chelsea’s boss Thomas Tuchel was as shocked by the team’s defeat as the rest of us, saying that they have to find solutions because they're not where they need to be. “At the moment, everything is missing… I am angry at myself, I am angry at our performance. I didn't see it coming. We need to be much better. We are not finished, we are not happy but I thought we were on a good way. I am surprised by this performance,” Tuchel told BT Sport. This is not even the beginning of Chelsea’s troubles. Their Premier League standings are just as disappointing, and they currently sit in sixth place following disappointing losses to Leeds and Southampton.
