Connor Bedard Becomes Youngest NHL Player in Eight Decades with 4-Point Game

Scoring four points in a single NFL game is no easy task – but records are there to be broken. Connor Bedard made history during his latest game with the Chicago Blackhawks and became the youngest player since 1944 with a four-point game. Bedard netted two goals and added two assists during the Blackhawks’ latest game, helping them score a 5-3 victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He joins Bep Guidolin and Ted Kennedy as the third-youngest player with a four-point game. He’s also the youngest player in Blackhawks history with a multi-goal game, besting Kirby Dach. The 18-year-old stayed as humble as ever following this historic achievement and said his teammates deserve as much credit for making it happen. "The other guys did great things and I kind of got the benefits. So it's obviously nice getting on the scoresheet, but there's a lot that goes into it," said Bedard. Bedard was selected first overall by the Blackhawks in the 2023 NHL Draft, and he’s off to a great start in Chicago. He scored seven goals and 11 points in just 12 games with the team, and his first two games even set ESPN and TNT viewership records for most-watched regular season ice hockey games.
