Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler to Coach TUF 31

The Ultimate Fighter 31 is shaping up to be pretty amazing, and we finally know who the coaches will be. Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will serve as coaches at TUF 31, and they’ll face each other in the ring at the end of the tournament. UFC president Dana White confirmed the exciting news and announced the highly-anticipated clash between the former UFC Lightweight champion McGregor and the former UFC Lightweight title challenger Michael Chandler. They’re following in the footsteps of Amanda Nunes and Julianna Peña, who served as coaches last year. Not much is known about the upcoming season of TUF, apart from the fact it will premiere on May 30 and run until August 15. The date of the fight between McGregor and Chandler is yet to be determined, but it’s definitely one of TUF’s most anticipated moments since it marks McGregor’s first fight since the summer of 2021, when he broke his leg in a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier. As for Michael Chandler, he signed his contract with UFC in 2020 and currently ranks fifth in the UFC lightweight rankings. He hadn’t stepped into the ring since UFC 281 in November last year, when he lost a fight to Dustin Poirier in the third round.
