Dallas Stars Beat Seattle Kraken to Secure Last Spot in Conference Finals

After a lot of anticipation, only four teams are left in the running for the Stanley Cup trophy – including the Dallas Stars. They secured the last spot in the Conference Finals after narrowly beating the Seattle Kraken in Game 7 to advance to the next round. While all the other teams proceeded to the Conference Finals after five or six games, Dallas and Seattle kept us on the edge of our seats until the very last moment. It all came down to Game 7, and the Stars managed to stay in the running for the Stanley Cup after beating Kraken 2-1. Coach Pete DeBoer described this game as their best performance of the playoffs but added they still have a long way to go if they want to lift the Stanley Cup. “I knew our group would respond like they have all year. Individually and collectively as a team, they didn’t disappoint… Let’s be honest, we didn’t win anything tonight. We advanced. We’ve still got a long way to go, and we’ve got a big test coming next,” he told the reporters. The Dallas Stars will meet the Vegas Golden Knights in the Western Conference finals. The winners of this game will face either the Carolina Hurricanes or the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup finals.
