Daniel Jones Signs $160 Million Extension with New York Giants

Daniel Jones spent the past four years with the New York Giants, and he’s ready to stay there for four more! The NFL quarterback signed a four-year extension with his current team, reportedly worth $160 million. The Giants were desperate to re-sign Jones before Tuesday's franchise tag deadline, and they were ready to cash out big bucks to make it happen. In addition to being worth $160 million, Jones’ new deal also includes $35 million in possible incentives. There was a lot of uncertainty regarding Jones’ future after the Giants declined the fifth-year option on his rookie deal last year, but he made it clear that he’d like to stay in New York. "I've really enjoyed playing here. I appreciate all those guys in the locker room. It's a special group of guys. And I really enjoyed being a part of it. We'll figure out where that goes, but I have nothing but love and respect for this organization and the guys in the locker room,” said Jones back in January. Jones joined the New York Giants four years ago, after being selected sixth overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. He’s proven to be quite a valuable player for the team and led them to their first playoff win in over a decade last season.
