Devin Booker Helps Suns Cruise Past Spurs with Season-High 48 Points

The Phoenix Suns faced the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night and managed to score their fourth straight win thanks to Devin Booker. He was on fire throughout the game, especially in the fourth quarter, and helped the Suns come out victorious with his best performance of the season. Booker ended the game with season-high 48 points and decided to be aggressive from the get-go since he knew they were facing a tough opponent in the Spurs. “I just respect (the Spurs) to the highest level. I understand the level that they compete at and especially the level that they play at here in San Antonio. I just wanted to be aggressive from the start,” said Booker after the game. It was also a big night for Bismack Biyombo, who finished the game with 17 points, and Chris Paul, who added another 15 points for the Suns. The coach Monty Williams praised the dynamic between Paul and Booker, saying that Paul is very good at reading the game and getting the ball to Booker whenever he’s on the roll. Phoenix was especially impressive in the fourth quarter, and they sealed the deal by outscoring San Antonio 34-16. They’ll have a chance to continue their winning streak on Thursday when they’re set to face the Dallas Mavericks.
