Durant and Harden Lead Brooklyn Nets to Dominant Win Over Chicago Bulls

Kevin Durant and James Harden reminded us they’re one of NBA’s best dynamic duos on Wednesday night, when face-off between the Eastern Conference’s top two teams took place. They helped the Brooklyn Nets easily romp over the Chicago Bulls and score a blowout 138-112 win. This was a big night for the Nets because it was just the second time this season that they had all three superstars in the lineup. Durant and Harden were joined by Kyrie Irving, who missed most of the season due to his refusal to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Durant scored 27 points, while Harden was right behind with 25. The game was pretty uncreditable at the start of the third quarter and it was tied at 71-all, but Durant helped the Nets make a comeback by scoring 17 points in this quarter alone. “We’re trying to make no statements to the league. I mean, who cares what they think. We know what we bring to the table, and it’s all about us. But I’m sure people were watching the game tonight,” said Durant after the game. It was also a big night for Patty Mills with 21 points and Day’Ron Sharpe with 20 points in just 22 minutes on the pitch. Kyrie Irving wasn’t at his best in his third game of the season, but he still managed to score 9 points for the Nets.
