Euro 2024: Wales, Greece, And Poland Through to Play-Off Finals

The Euro 2024 race is slowly heating up, and several teams secured their spots in the play-offs this Thursday night. Wales, Greece, and Poland were among six teams to book their spots in the play-off finals following their recent wins. Poland was on top of their game against Estonia in Group A, and they easily made it to the next round of competition with a dominant 5-1 win. Wales easily cruised past Finland in Group A, and they owe their 4-1 win to David Brooks, who opened the scoring just three minutes into the game. Wales is due to play Poland in the play-offs final, and their manager Robert Page is confident they have what it takes to beat them this time around. "Now we're in a different position because we've got a younger squad, a fitter squad, we've got players who are playing regularly… We've been there and done it, we know what we have to do, it doesn't faze us. We've had a taste of major tournaments and we quite like it,” said Page. Ukraine pulled a major upset against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group B, while Iceland scored an easy 4-1 win against Israel. Greece and Kazakhstan crashed in Group C, with Greece winning 5-0, while Georgia defeated Luxembourg 2-0.
