Formula 1 Night Race Coming to Las Vegas in 2023

It’s been decades since Las Vegas had its own Grand Prix, but that’s about to change. The Las Vegas Grand Prix is coming to Sin City in November next year, and officials are promising an exciting night race that will see drivers sweep past Nevada’s most iconic landmarks. F1 president and CEO Stefano Domenicali announced the inclusion of the Las Vegas Grand Prix in the 2023 Formula One World Championship calendar, describing it as an incredible moment for F1 and proof of its growth in the US. "Las Vegas is a destination known around the world for its excitement, hospitality, thrills, and of course, the famous Strip. There is no better place for Formula 1 to race than in the global entertainment capital of the world and we cannot wait to be here next year," said Domenicali. Las Vegas previously hosted the Caesars Palace Grand Prix between 1981 and 1984, but this event was only a part of the Formula One World Championship for the first two years. The new Grand Prix will come with a 6.12km, 14-turn street circuit in downtown Las Vegas, taking drivers past the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. The Las Vegas Grand Prix joins the Miami Grand Prix and the United States Grand Prix as the third major Formula 1 race to take place in the US on the 2023 calendar.
