Fulham Secures Second Five-Goal Victory in Five Days Against West Ham

Securing a five-goal victory is quite an achievement, and Fulham managed to do it twice in a single week! They were on the top of their game against West Ham United on Sunday, only five days after thrashing Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage. Fulham came into their latest game on the heels of the epic 5-0 victory against Nottingham, and they somehow managed to repeat this success. Raul Jimenez opened the scoring on Sunday, followed by Willian, Tosin Adarabioyo, Harry Wilson, and Carlos Vinicius, all of whom netted a goal for Fulham and led the team to their second 5-0 win in a row. Fulham’s manager Marco Silva said that their recent success proves that “confidence builds confidence”, and singled out Jimenez as a perfect example after he scored three goals across two games. "It was a brilliant performance from us. The players understood the plan and executed it so well. It was almost a perfect afternoon for us… We are not really different now, we changed and adjusted some things but the faith in our players was always there," said Silva. Two consecutive victories significantly improved Fulham’s Premier League ranking, lifting them to the top half of the table, three points behind West Ham.
