Gabriel Martinelli Leads Arsenal to Major Win Against Man City

It seemed like Manchester City was off to another great season, but the last two weeks have been rocky for the defending Premier League champions. Man City suffered another loss to Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, after Gabriel Martinelli scored a late winner for the Gunners. The face-off between Man City and Arsenal was tense until the very last second, and the final four minutes determined who would come out victorious. Gabriel Martinelli led the Gunners to victory after returning from a hamstring injury as a substitute. This marks Arsenal’s first win over Man City in the Premier League since 2015, and Martinelli said beating them after all this time gives the team more confidence to kick on. "I am not the man. I think everyone has a part in this victory. I scored the goal but it was the whole team and the staff and everyone… It gives more confidence to us. We know our potential and how tough it is to play against them,” he told Sky Sports. This marks the second consecutive Premier League loss for Man City after they dropped the ball against Wolves in late September. Following their latest defeat, they’re two points behind both Tottenham and Arsenal in Premier League rankings.
