Harry Kane Helps Bayern Win Seven-Goal Thriller Against Manchester United

Thursday’s Champions League opener was one for the books, and it gave us an epic face-off between Bayern Munich and Manchester United. Harry Kane led Bayern to a memorable win in this seven-goal thriller, and they eventually defeated Manchester 4-3. Bayern was on fire in the first half, and it seemed like no one could possibly stop them in their tracks. They came into the second half with a 2-0 lead thanks to Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry, but Rasmus Hojlund turned things around by scoring a goal for Manchester. Harry Kane’s penalty gave Bayern a 3-1 lead, but the game got tense in the last few minutes. Casemiro’s late goal gave Manchester a slim chance for a comeback, but the hope was gone after Mathys Tel netted another goal for Munich in added time. Kane scored five goals for Bayern since joining from Tottenham earlier this summer, and he’s confident he can do great things with his new team. "Thankfully we were able to hold onto the lead. It's always great to score. Always room for improvement. Really good night tonight, we've started the season well and we can improve in certain areas but I feel like we are building towards that," Kane told TNT Sports. In addition to failing to win the Champions League opener, Manchester United didn’t have any luck with their Premier League matches and they’re not even in the top ten this season.
