Harry Kane Leads Tottenham to Surprising Win Against Manchester City

This weekend gave us several pretty epic Premier League matches, but the one between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City created the most buzz. Man City came into the match as the obvious favorite, but they ended up losing 3-2 to Spurs thanks to Harry Kane’s valiant efforts. Tottenham was on fire from the very start, with Dejan Kulusevski scoring the first goal for his team just four minutes later. Ilkay Gundogan’s equalizer gave Man City their confidence back, but they simply couldn’t stand their ground to Harry Kane. He scored two goals and eventually led Spurs to the 3-2 win with his epic penalty shot in the fifth minute of stoppage time. This thrilling victory significantly improved Tottenham’s Premier League chances, but the team’s head coach Antonio Conte knows they still have a long way to go. “This type of win has to give us confidence to trust in the work we’re doing. But we know very well there are many, many games in front of us. We have to fight a lot to stay very close for the first positions,” said Conte in his post-match press conference. Man City is still the Premier League leader with 63 points, while Tottenham moved up to the seventh spot after this match. They’re just three points behind West Ham United and Arsenal in fifth and sixth place.
