Harry Kane Scores a Goal On His Bundesliga Debut with Bayern Munich

It was quite a shocker to see Harry Kane leave Tottenham Hotspur after over a decade, but he quickly adjusted to being in Munich. England’s star striker made his Bundesliga on Friday and helped Bayern Munich easily cruise past Werder Bremen after scoring his first goal by their side. Kane kicked off the game by setting up Leroy Sane's opening goal for Bayern, and that was just the start. This assist was followed by Kane’s own goal in the second half, which gave Bayern a 2-0 lead. Two more goals by Sane and Mathys Tel followed, giving Thomas Tuchel’s team a comfortable 4-0 win. Kane discussed his transfer with “Sky Sports News” ahead of his first game with Bayern and said he’s excited to show the fans what he’s been doing his whole career. "A lot of people talk about the trophies and why I came here, but ultimately it was to improve, to feel a new pressure of having to win titles every year, having to go far in the Champions League, and pushing myself to that limit,” said Kane. Kane signed a four-year deal with Bayern earlier this month for €100 million, plus €10 million bonuses in transfer fees, setting a new record for the most expensive signing in Bundesliga history. His Tottenham exit was quite a shocker because he’s been with the team since 2009 and became Premier League’s second-highest all-time goalscorer during his tenure.
