Jake Paul Gearing Up For His Next Fight with Nate Diaz This August in Dallas

There was a lot of anticipation leading up to Jake Paul’s next fight ever since he lost to Tommy Fury, and we finally know who his next opponent will be. YouTuber-turned-boxer will come to face to face with the former UFC star Nate Diaz this summer in Dallas. Paul and Diaz will square off at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on August 5, with Paul's Most Valuable Promotions and Diaz's Real Fight Inc. joining forces to promote it. The eight-round fight will be contested at 185 pounds with 10-ounce gloves. This will mark Diaz’s professional boxing debut after he left the UFC as one of the biggest free agents in MMA history. As for Paul, this will mark the first time he’ll step back into the ring after his first pro loss to Tommy Fury in late February. Paul said he’s more focused than ever after this loss because the world thinks he’s vulnerable, and Diaz felt like a perfect opponent because he’s not an easy target. “My team wanted me to take an easy fight like KSI next, but that's not how I am built. Nate Diaz is considered one of the most bad-ass fighters of all time, but he and his team have been running their mouths for too long," Paul said in a statement.
