Jake Paul Suffers His First Boxing Loss To Tommy Fury

Jake Paul was undefeated since the beginning of his boxing career, but it was just a matter of time before he suffered his first loss. Tommy Fury put a stop to Paul’s domination in the ring and handed him his first loss during their face-off in Saudi Arabia. YouTuber-turned-boxer has been on a roll since deciding to make a major career change, but even he couldn’t stand his ground to Fury. Despite being knocked down in the final round, The British professional boxer managed to outbox Paul and win the eight-round match by a split decision. This loss was a huge blow for Paul, who described it as “a humbling experience.” He called his loss a reflection of his “own performance versus [Fury] being super outstanding”, and added he’s looking forward to a rematch. “I just talked to Tommy back in the medical room, and he’s like, ‘Let’s go, let’s do it again.’ And he’s down for it. So I think that that will be the focus first and foremost. I’m gonna prove that I can go and fight a better fight than I did tonight and get that W,” said Paul post-match. Paul’s loss to Fury also marks his first face-off with a “real” boxer, after he built a reputation by beating non-boxers, including AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson, Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva.
