Joel Embiid Leads 76ers Against Magic with Career-High 50 Points

Joel Embiid has been playing some of the best basketball of his career this season, and he took things to a whole new level on Wednesday night. He helped the Philadelphia 76ers defeat the Orlando Magic by scoring 50 points in just 27 minutes. Embiid tied his own career-high with 50 points and 12 rebounds and led the 76ers to a 123-110 victory with his dominant performance in the third quarter. He joins Allen Iverson and Wilt Chamberlain as only the third player in the club’s history to finish multiple games with 50 points or more. “I was feeling great. Just playing my game, just dominating like I've been doing all season… I’m trying to play at the best level possible I can, and that’s being the best player in the world. And for us to win I have to be that guy every single night,” said Embiid after the game. Tobias Harris added additional 21 points for the 76ers, closely followed by Tyrese Maxey with 14, including a pair of 3-pointers. When it comes to Orlando, it was a big night for Mo Bamba, who set a personal career record with 32 points and seven 3-pointers. The 76ers are set to face the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night, while Orlando will play against the Los Angeles Lakers that same day.
