Kansas City Chiefs Barely Hold Off New York Giants During Latest Clash

The latest clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Giants was full of twists and turns, and the winner was tough to call until the very end. The Chiefs eventually managed to score a slim 20-17 win on Monday night. Patrick Mahomes threw for 275 yards with a touchdown after coming into the game as the Chiefs' leading rusher. Tyreek Hill also aided the Chief’s win with 12 catches for 94 yards and a score, while Mecole Hardman added five catches for 63 yards. It still wasn’t an impressive game since they averaged just 4.8 yards per play and were penalized 12 times for 103 yards. The Chiefs coach Andy Reid acknowledged the fact this game wasn’t an easy one to win but said he’s hoping to turn things around after a disappointing start to the season. “Listen, everything is not beautiful right now but we're fighting through it. Our guys battled. They didn't give up on each other. They kept working at a time you could have just thrown your hands,” said Reid after the game. Despite their successful attempt to hold off the Giants, the Chiefs had a pretty uneven showing since the beginning of the season, with four wins and four losses, including the humiliating 27-3 thrashing by the Tennessee Titans.
