PSG officials are reportedly still trying to convince him to change his mind and expand his current contract. Madrid made three separate offers to PSG for Mbappe last summer, reportedly worth up to €200 million. The French club rejected all of them, and their sporting director Leonardo Araújo made it clear they want the 23-year-old player to stick around. “Our idea is to extend Kylian Mbappe’s contract. Nothing has changed in our plans. Kylian is a jewel, he is incredibly perfect for PSG... We’ve never planned PSG’s future without Mbappe,” he told the Festival dello Sport last year.
