Lane Johnson Signs $33 Million Extension with Philadelphia Eagles

Lane Johnson spent the entirety of his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles, and he’s not going anywhere. One of the Eagles’ key offensive players is here to stay after signing a one-year extension through the 2026 season, reportedly worth $33 million. Johnson’s new deal includes $30 million guaranteed, while the total value of the deal has been estimated at $33.445 million. With his most recent extension, Johnson has $80.75 million on his deal for four years, which will keep him in Philadelphia through 2026. Johnson is fresh off another amazing season, and he set an NFL record of not allowing a sack in 26 consecutive games back in December. He was one of the players who led the Eagles to Super Bowl LVII, but they eventually lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. Johnson’s loyalty to the Eagles has been unwavering for a whole decade since he joined the team in the 2013 NFL Draft. The 32-year-old has been one of the cornerstones of their offensive line ever since, and he’s hoping to spend the rest of his career in Philadelphia. "My whole goal is to retire an Eagle… I'm just excited to be here, be as fortunate as I am to be with one team for as long as I have. I love this game and, more importantly, I love the people and the coaches that I'm with every day and that's why I love the game so much," said Johnson.
