Man City Just Two Points Behind Arsenal After Beating Them 4-1

Arsenal was in a comfortable lead for most of the ongoing Premier League season, but the race is getting tight. Manchester City is just two points behind them after their latest face-off ended in a disappointing 4-1 loss for the Gunners. The latest match between the main Premier League contenders should’ve been the clash of the titans, but Arsenal had nothing on Man City. They delivered a masterclass performance in Wednesday’s night game, which has the potential to completely overturn the rest of the Premier League race. Kevin de Bruyne scored two goals for his side and had great support from John Stones and Erling Haaland, who joined forces to lead Man City to their latest triumph. Rob Holding’s goal for Arsenal came 86 minutes too late, and it was just a consolation prize at the end of a truly humiliating night for his team. Man City's Pep Guardiola believes it’s important to keep their focus following this victory, especially in the next three matches that could put them ahead of Arsenal. “I don't want to anticipate because it's not healthy but at home this season we feel comfortable with the crowd. I think the next three games will be really important but of course, the most important thing is our destiny is in our hands," said Guardiola.
