Man City’s Cole Palmer Eying Shocking £45 Million Move to Chelsea

Chelsea has been signing new players left and right all summer long, and they’re showing no signs of stopping. The Blues are getting ready to welcome another emerging talent to their ranks after Manchester City’s Cole Palmer agreed to a shocking £45 million transfer. Man City’s attacker Palmer is set to undergo medical before completing his move to Stamford Bridge. His new deal is worth £40 million, but it could rise up to £45 million with add-ons. Chelsea was eager to strike a deal before Friday’s deadline after Man City rejected their initial offer for Palmer, worth £35 million. It’s quite a shocker to see Chelsea sign another player, given their spending this season, but it’s not as surprising to see Palmer leave Man City since he previously discussed a potential transfer. “I just want to play football. So whatever the best decision is when we speak together, that is what I will do. Obviously, the best scenario is to stay at City and play but obviously, you know what the competition is like, if they bring someone in – I don’t know,” said Palmer. Cole Palmer joined Manchester City in 2020, and made a total of 41 senior appearances with the team, scoring six goals along the way.
