Manchester City Beats Chelsea to Win Third Consecutive Premier League Title

This year’s race for the Premier League title has been bumpy and wild, but the winner has finally emerged! Manchester City lifted the trophy for the third year in a row at Etihad Stadium on Sunday after scoring an easy win against Chelsea. Man City came into Sunday’s game confident they could take the title home – and that’s exactly what they did! Julian Alvarez gave his side a 1-0 lead just 12 minutes into the game, and the result didn’t change until the very end. Pep Guardiola deserves all the credit for leading Man City to their fifth Premier League title, and he’s now shifting his focus to their upcoming Champions League final. “We won a lot but can’t deny that it can be unfair to have to win the Champions League to give value to what you’ve done. I know we will not be complete if we do not win the Champions League and sometimes playing with this pressure is nice, it’s necessary,” said Guardiola. With the FA Cup final at Wembley and the Champions League final in Istanbul to look forward to, Man City is on the verge of a treble this season. They’ll face Manchester United on June 3 in the FA Cup before clashing with Inter Milan in the Champions League on June 10.
