Marcus Rashford Leads Manchester United to FA Cup Win Against Everton

Manchester United and Everton clashed in the third round of the FA Cup on Friday and it was a match to remember. Marcus Rashford led the Red Devils to another epic win at Old Trafford, scoring for his fifth successive game. United was on top of their game from the very first minute, and Antony gave the team a well-deserved 1-0 lead just four minutes into the game. Conor Coady equaled the score for Everton just ten minutes later, but his performance wasn’t as impressive in the second half when he scored an own goal. Marcus Rashford eventually sealed the deal for Manchester with his stoppage-time penalty, scoring for a fifth successive game, and Erik ten Hag had high praise for him after the match. “Marcus was the one who went in front and showed the confidence and the belief and good movements behind, taking the players on and for 90 minutes was a threat. When he keeps focus like that, I am sure he can keep this process going,” said United’s manager. After beating Everton, United became the first team to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup. Matches will take place between January 27 and 30, and the rest of the contenders will be determined in the third-round matches on Saturday and Sunday.
