Max Verstappen Continues His Domination at Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Max Verstappen is one of the favorites to win the Formula One World Championship this year, and he cemented his status as the front-runner at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver easily won this race after his biggest rival Charles Leclerc retired due to engine failure. Even though he took the pole position, Leclerc failed to come out victorious in Baku, after his second engine-related retirement. This is a huge disappointment after an amazing start to the season, and he’s currently trailing Verstappen by 34 points. The Dutch driver sympathizes with Leclerc, especially after starting the season with two DNFs. He believes they’re “more or less evened out with the bad luck” because he had to play catch-up for most of the season. “If I would be in the same situation, I would also be disappointed, I think that’s very normal, but it’s about how you come out of it. You always look at how to improve things – that’s what we did at the beginning of the season,” said Verstappen after the race. The victory in Baku marks his fourth win in five races. He also won the Spanish Grand Prix, Miami Grand Prix, Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
