Max Verstappen Cruises to Third Consecutive Win at Spanish Grand Prix

Max Verstappen has been on fire in the last few Formula 1 races, and he’s not losing momentum. The Spanish Grand Prix marked another epic win for the defending World Champion, and he cruised past Lewis Hamilton and George Russell to score the third consecutive win in a row. Verstappen took the pole position in Spain this weekend, and it wasn’t a shocker to see him achieve his 40th career victory. He looked unbeatable from his very first lap and managed to outrace everyone even after getting a black-and-white flag for exceeding track limits three times. Even though they didn’t manage to come out victorious, the Spanish Grand Prix was a huge triumph for Mercedes, with both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell taking the podium. "Hats off to my team, a big thank you to the team back at the factory to continue to push and bring us a bit close to the Red Bulls. One step at a time, if we can get close to them by the end of the year, that will be awesome, if not then next year," said Hamilton post-race. Red Bull won every race of the season so far, with Max Verstappen taking home five trophies, while Sergio Pérez won two. They’re currently leading the World Championship standings, with Fernando Alonso, Hamilton, and Russel right behind.
