Miami Heat Heading to NBA Finals After Ruining Boston Celtics’ Comeback

The Eastern Conference Finals were one wild rollercoaster, and we had to wait until the very last game for the winner to be determined. Despite managing to make an epic comeback after losing 3-0, the Boston Celtics eventually fell to the Miami Heat in Game 7. Miami and Boston kept us on the edge of our seats throughout the Eastern Conference Finals and entered the past few games thinking it would be their last face-off. The Heat initially took a 3-0 lead, but the Celtics managed to make an epic comeback, forcing a 3-3 draw. Miami entered Game 7 determined to make it to the finals, and eventually scored a dominant 103-84 win. Jimmy Butler was on top of his game and scored 28 points for the Heat, closely followed by Caleb Martin with 26 points. Winning the Eastern Conference Finals isn’t enough for Butler, and he believes it’s important to keep their eyes on the prize in the NBA Finals. "Nobody's satisfied. We haven't done anything. We don't play just to win the Eastern Conference, we play to win the whole thing," said Butler post-game. The NBA Finals will be played between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets, who defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in just four games to make it to the finals for the first time in history.
