Mohamed Salah Signs New Contract to Become Liverpool’s Highest-Paid Player

Liverpool has been thriving since Mohamed Salah joined the team five years ago, and he’s not going anywhere! The Egyptian striker signed a new three-year contract extension with the Reds, becoming the team’s highest-paid player with a weekly salary of £350,000. Salah’s new contract will keep him in Liverpool until at least 2025, and he’s worth every penny! Since joining the Reds in 2017, he helped them win the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup, scoring 156 goals in 254 games. Salah is happy to stay in Liverpool, and he believes they’re in a good position to fight for new titles after a series of exciting new signings this summer. "I feel great and excited to win trophies with the club. It's a happy day for everyone. It takes a little bit of time, I think, to renew, but now everything is done, so we just need to focus on what's next… We just need to keep working hard, have a good vision, be positive, and go for everything again," said Salah in a statement. Liverpool’s boss Jurgen Klopp also released a statement praising Salah, saying his first five seasons have been the stuff of legend and that his best years are yet to come.
