Philadelphia 76ers Reach Eastern Conference Semis Without Joel Embiid

The Philadelphia 76ers played their latest game against the Brooklyn Nets without Joel Embiid, but that didn’t stop them from coming out victorious. The 76ers easily cruised past the Nets in Game 4 and secured a spot in the conference semi-finals with this win. The MVP finalist Embiid was ruled out with a right knee sprain in Game 3, but he'll have just enough time to recover following the Sixers latest win. They’re the first team to reach the second round of the playoffs with a perfect 4-0 score against the Nets. Philadelphia owes their latest 96-88 win against Brooklyn to Tobias Harris, who finished the game with 25 points and 12 rebounds. It was also a good night for James Harden, who added 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Tyrese Maxey finished the game with 16 points. The Sixers didn’t need Embiid to score their latest victory, but getting him back is now their no. 1 priority. “It starts with Joel. He’s the leader of this team and for him, he takes the guys before the game and he told us good luck and we appreciate him for that. And we need him to get healthy,” said Tyrese Maxey. The 76ers will either face the Boston Celtics or Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference semi-finals, with Boston leading the series 2-1.
