Rashan Gary Signs $107 Million Extension with Green Bay Packers

Rashan Gary has been with the Green Bay Packers since the very start of his NFL career, and he’s planning to stick around in Wisconsin. The 25-year-old linebacker agreed to sign a four-year extension with his current team, reportedly worth $107 million. Gary is currently earning $10.89 million on the fifth-year option of his rookie contract, but his new deal is worth much more. It comes with $96 million in new money, including a $34.6 million signing bonus, and its total value could rise to $107 million with all bonuses. The team’s general manager Brian Gutekunst announced Gary’s new deal on Monday and praised his performance over the course of the past four years. "Rashan has been an impact player and person for us since he joined the Packers. His work ethic is unmatched and he has developed into a team leader and cornerstone of our team. We are very pleased that he will remain in Green Bay for years to come," said Gutekunst in a statement. Gary joined the Packers in 2019 and it’s not a shocker to see him stick around in Green Bay. He told Packer Central that it was his dream to extend his contract just last year, but added he’s just going to do his work and not look too far ahead.
