Ronaldo’s Double Goal Leads Portugal to Euro 2024, France & Belgium Also In

The qualifications for next summer's European Championship are in full swing, and several countries already made it to the next round of competition. Portugal got in thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s double goal against Slovakia, along with France and Belgium. Portugal’s face-off with Slovakia took place on Friday, and the second half was pretty tense. It seemed like Portugal would be in for an easy win after Gonçalo Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo led them to a 2-0 lead in the first half. Slovakia managed to make a pretty impressive comeback, but still ended up losing 3-2. As for France, they owe their latest victory to the team’s star player Kylian Mbappe. He was on top of his game in the match against the Netherlands and helped his side quality to Euro 2024 with two matches to spare after scoring two goals, bringing his total this season to ten goals. Belgium cruised past Austria to make it to Euro 2024, beating them 2-3. Dodi Lukebakio was one of the players responsible for this victory after managing to score two goals for his side, while Romelu Lukaku added one more to become the top goal scorer in Euro 2024 qualifying so far. Austria made a pretty impressive comeback in the second half, with Konrad Laimer and Marcel Sabitzer netting a goal each, but it was too late to beat Belgium.
