The US Beats Argentina to Continue Their Domination at 2022 Volleyball Nations League

The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League is in the full swing right now, and the US team is proving their domination with each new game. They cemented their status as one of the front-runners for the title with a dominant victory against Argentina. Argentina and United States met up in Osaka, Japan on Sunday, and the winner was tough to call until the very end. The use eventually managed to score a 3-2 victory in five sets, winning 29-27, 22-25, 20-25, 25-13, 17-15. Outside hitter TJ Defalco is one of the players responsible for this win, after managing to produce a total of 28 points for his team. “I am happy that everyone who is here witnessed a good fight… We are really happy to win four in four; it was a team effort all the way around for this week and I’m just happy for the team. The big word now is REST!” said Defalco after the match. This victory isn’t a huge shocker since the US destroyed one opponent after another since the preliminary league of the Nations League kicked off on June 7. They only dropped two matches so far, to Iran and Poland. They’re one of seven teams proceeding to the Volleyball Nations League finals, taking place between July 20 and 24 in Bologna, Italy.
