Tom Brady Reveals What the Future Holds After His Retirement

Tom Brady announced he was retiring “for good” earlier this year, but what has he been up to since leaving the NFL behind? The record-breaking quarterback recently opened up about his plans for the future, from a broadcasting gig at Fox to becoming the Las Vegas Raiders minority owner. Brady delivered a huge shocker when he announced his retirement last year, only to change his mind 40 days later, but he’s not planning to do it again. He told Sports Illustrated's Robin Lundberg that he’s certain he’s not playing again, adding that he hates “to continue to profess that." Rumors about Brady’s potential comeback started swirling around after he agreed to terms of a deal to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raider. Some speculated he would also join the team as their starting quarterback, but playing football is the last thing on his mind. "I'm looking forward to my broadcasting job at Fox next year. I'm looking forward to the opportunity ahead with the Raiders, and we're in the process of that, along with the other different things that I'm a part of professionally and in my personal life,” said Brady. Brady’s deal with the Raiders is yet to be approved, but his 10-year, $375-million deal with Fox Sports will keep him pretty occupied when he starts his NFL broadcasting gig next year.
