Tottenham Hotspurs Hand Leicester City Humiliating Sixth Straight Loss

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to be a Leicester City fan this season, and their last game resulted in the most humiliating loss yet. Tottenham Hotspurs trashed Leicester on Saturday night to win 6-2, handing them their sixth straight loss since the start of the Premier League. Son Heung-Min’s hat trick in the second half helped the Spurs score this epic win, but he wasn’t the only one leading the team to victory. Harry Kane and Eric Dier established Tottenham’s domination in the first half, while Rodrigo Bentancur scored another goal at the very start of the second half. This loss is extremely difficult to handle because Leicester started off strong, and Youri Tielemans' early penalty gave them a lead that only lasted for two minutes. James Maddison's first-time finish was also pretty impressive, but things fell apart for the Foxes in the second half. All eyes are on the team’s manager Brendan Rodgers after he led Leicester to their sixth consecutive loss. Fans are calling for him to be fired following a winless start to the season, but he’s keeping his hopes up and he’s ready for whatever comes his way. "I always believe we can overcome it. You didn't see a team today that is short of confidence, that is always a good sign. I will always fight on, but I understand the game and six straight losses isn't good for anyone," said Rodgers after the game.
