Cristiano Ronaldo Staying in Manchester Until at Least January

The rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo’s potential transfer have been running wild all summer, but the drama seems to be over. The Portuguese striker will stay with Manchester United until at least January, and the team’s boss Erik ten Hag says they’re “on the same page”. With Thursday's transfer deadline on the horizon and no trade options in sight, it became pretty clear that Ronaldo isn’t going anywhere. This means he’ll stay in Manchester at least until the re-opening of the transfer window in January. The United boss Ten Hag said he’s spoken with Ronaldo about his future on several occasions and that he wouldn’t be here if he didn’t want to. "We are happy with him, he's happy to be here and we want to make the season a success together. From the start, we said we planned with him. It's your vision, not my vision. We are all on one page," said Ten Hag, adding that he won’t struggle to fit into the squad because he knows what the demands are. Ronaldo initially played for Manchester United between 2003 and 2009, and he re-joined the team last year. He was the team’s top-scorer last season with 24 goals in all competitions, but that didn’t stop the Red Devils from finishing in the disappointing sixth place by the end of the Premier League.
