Giannis’s Triple-Double Leads Milwaukee Bucks to Historic Winning Streak

The Milwaukee Bucks have been on fire since the beginning of the season, and their face-off with the Minnesota Timberwolves was quite historic. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s triple-double led them to the eighth win in a row, marking this the best start of a season in franchise history. The Bucks defeated the Wolves 115-102 on Friday night, and Giannis was one of the players who made it happen. He finished the game with 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists, scoring his first triple-double of the season and 30th overall. Antetokounmpo praised the team for “playing good basketball” after their latest triumph, but said it’s even more important that they’re building good habits that will carry them through the rest of the season. “What can carry over today to that [next] game are the habits we built today. I’m happy that the team is winning. But that’s, like, second. I’m happy that the team is building good habits, habits that you see, OK, we can be good,” said the Greek player post-game. In addition to Antetokounmpo, the Bucks owe their latest triumph to Jrue Holiday, who scored 29 points on Friday. Bobby Portis Jr. was also on top of his game and added 18 points. Milwaukee remains NBA’s only undefeated team this season, and they’ll have a chance to continue their winning streak against Oklahoma City on Saturday night.
