Green Bay Packers Score First Win of the Season Against Detroit Lions

The Green Bay Packers were off to a rocky start since the beginning of the season, but it seems they finally got their groove back. They scored their first win of the season against the Detroit Lions, thanks to Aaron Jones’s dominating performance that led them to an epic victory. The Packers managed to beat the Lions 35-17 on Monday night, winning their ninth straight home opener. This victory comes shortly after their embarrassing 38-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, which left team’s fans worried about their future. Things were looking brighter during their face-off with the Lions, especially thanks to Aaron Jones. He led the Packers to impressive victory by scoring four touchdowns but admitted he went into the game with a heavy heart following his father’s recent passing and decided to leave it all on the field. “He was really on my heart. I actually have a chain with a football, and his ashes are in it. I scored, and it fell off in the end zone. I'll go look for it, but I know he'd be happy. He'd be like, 'If you lose it anywhere, lose it in the end zone,'” said Jones after the emotional match.
