Harry Kane Becomes Tottenham's All-Time Top Scorer with 267 Goals

Harry Kane set many records during his time with Tottenham Hotspur, and his latest is the most significant one yet. He led the Spurs to an amazing win against Manchester City on Sunday night and became the club’s all-time top scorer with a total of 267 goals. Kane was on top of his game from the get-go and scored the first goal for Tottenham just 15 minutes into their face-off with Man City. They struggled to make a comeback for the rest of the game, and the Spurs eventually came out victorious 1-0 largely thanks to Kane. Kane said it was special to break a record in such an important game, adding it’s a huge honor to overtake Jimmy Greaves since he’s one of the best strikers of all time. “It's hard to put into words and I'm so glad it came in a win. It is a great feeling. When I started playing regularly it wasn't even in my imagination to score 200 Premier League goals and I have a few more years left so hopefully there are more to come,” Kane told Sky Sports. In addition to being Tottenham's all-time top scorer, he’s currently the third-highest Premier League all-time top scorer behind Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney.
