Indiana Pacers End Philadelphia 76ers' 8-Game Win Streak

The Philadelphia 76ers have been on fire since the start of the season, and they entered their latest game on the wings of an eight-game win streak. They came face to face with the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night, who put a stop to their winning streak after eight games. The Pacers grabbed a 36-30 lead in the first quarter, and they weren’t letting go. The 76ers tried to make a comeback in the third quarter and scored eight points more than their rivals, but that wasn’t enough to even out the score and the Pacers eventually won 132-126. Joel Embiid was the game’s top scorer, with 39 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists for his team, but he acknowledged they weren’t on top of their game against the Pacers. “We just got to clean up finishing up the game. We've been doing a good job, but tonight we had a few traveling calls and were a little disorganized at times. We're just not getting ourselves open, so we have to do a better job,” said Embiid. The Pacers owe their latest victory to Tyrese Haliburton, who scored 33 points and 15 assists on Tuesday night. He was closely followed by Obi Toppin, who chipped in 27 points to help Indiana secure their latest win.
