Kansas City Chiefs & San Francisco 49ers Set Super Bowl Rematch

Super Bowl LVIII is just two weeks away, and it will give us a major déjà vu. The defending champions Kansas City Chiefs managed to beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, setting a Super Bowl rematch with their rivals from last year, the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs punched their ticket to a second straight Super Bowl by pulling a major upset against the Baltimore Ravens. They scored an epic 17-10 win in Sunday's AFC Championship Game, making it to their fourth Super Bowl in the past five years. Despite their recent dominance, Kansas City’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes isn’t taking their latest win for granted. “It truly is special just to do it with these guys after what we've been through all season long. Guys coming together, it really is special. But I told them, 'The job's not done.' Our job now is to prepare ourselves to play a good football team in the Super Bowl and try to get that ring," Mahomes told ESPN. As for the San Francisco 49ers, they made an epic comeback against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. They overcame the largest halftime deficit in an NFL conference title matchup by scoring 27 straight points to erase a 17-point deficit, thus claiming an epic 34-31 win against the Lions. Super Bowl LVIII will take place on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
