LeBron James Addresses the Laker’s 10th Loss in 13 Games

The Los Angeles Lakers entered this NBA season with high hopes, but they’re struggling to live up to them right now. They suffered their tenth loss in 13 games to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, and LeBron James said “they suck right now” following their most recent defeat. The Lakers took home the inaugural In-Season Tournament championship just last month, but they’ve been on a downward spiral ever since. The team has been struggling to return to form during the 13-game span following this victory, which resulted in ten disappointing losses. The Lakers’ 127-113 home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night was the final straw for the team’s star player LeBron James. Despite adding 32 points for his side, he failed to lead them to victory, and he was visibly frustrated after the game, telling the reporters “we just suck right now.” The Lakers’ head coach Darvin Ham also addressed the team’s losing stretch and said it’s important to focus on the bigger picture. "This is a marathon. You have to look at the totality of the picture. I'm tired of people living and dying with every single game we play… We hit a tough stretch. It's the same team. We played some high-level games a little while ago, and we've just got to get back to that,” said Ham.
