LeBron James’ Triple-Double Leads Lakers to OT Win Over Knicks

LeBron James missed the past five games with the Los Angeles Lakers due to injury but he was lock and loaded in his comeback game. He led the Lakers to an overtime win against the New York Knicks with an epic triple-double on Saturday. James netted 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists as the Lakers rallied against the Knicks, leading them to a 122-115 win as the game entered overtime. This marks his comeback following a five-game absence with swelling in his left knee, and he was ecstatic to finally join his teammates. “[I’m]just excited to be back in the uniform, back on the floor with my guys. Missed them, missed the game. I was happy I was able to make a few plays and help us win a ballgame," said James after the game. The Lakers had a pretty uneven showing without James, and only won one of their last five games. Saturday was a big night for him since he scored his fourth triple-double of the season. He did a great job bringing out the best in other players as he rejoined the team, with Malik Monk scoring 29 points and Anthony Davis trailing right behind with 28 points.
