Luka Doncic Leads Mavericks to Seventh Straight Win Against Phoenix Suns

The Dallas Mavericks have been on fire in the past few weeks, and their latest match resulted in another epic victory. Luka Doncic scored 41 points against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, extending the Mavs’ winning streak to seven straight games. Doncic was just one rebound from hitting the triple-double on Thursday, and he finished the game with 41 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds. He had great support from Kyrie Irving, who scored 29 points by the end of the night, helping the Mavs beat the Suns 123-113. Doncic and Irving are proving to be quite a dynamic duo, and the team's winning streak kicked off after Irving returned from a sprained thumb injury. Their latest win helped them match their previous longest stretch of victories this season, and they’re just one game away from breaking it. Coach Jason Kidd said it’s obvious that the guys are having fun every time they hit the court, and that positive energy carried them to their latest winning streak. “I think it just shows again, our health, our energy, everything’s in a positive way right now… You can see that energy on the floor. Those guys are cheering for one another. There’s going to be mistakes, there’s going to be missed shots, but it’s on to the next play,” Kidd told the reporters.
