Luka Doncic’s 41-Point Triple-Double Leads Mavericks Past Nets

We can count on Luka Doncic to give it his all in each game for the Dallas Mavericks, and he was going stronger than ever in their latest face-off against the Brooklyn Nets. The Mavs scored another epic victory thanks to Doncic’s 41-point triple-double on Thursday night. Doncic finished the game with 41 points, 14 assists, and 11 rebounds, which is quite a historic achievement. He’s just the 10th player in NBA history with at least three 40-point triple-doubles, joining in the ranks of such legends as Larry Bird and Michael Jordan. When asked to explain some of the wild passes we witnessed during the Mavs’ game with the Nets, Doncic struggled to put it into words, saying there’s a lot of spontaneity to them. "It's tough to explain. I don't really know the answer to that, but probably say I try some things on the court and it looks good… Sometimes in practice, I try to do some dumb things, probably, that's how I'm gonna say it, but then sometimes in games they work,” explained the Slovenian player. Despite Doncic’s epic performance, the Mavs struggled to beat the Nets 129-125 on Thursday night. Brooklyn’s star players were on top of their game, with Kyrie Irving scoring 39 points and Kevin Durant adding another 37.
