Man City Beats Everton as Erling Haaland Scores First Goals Since November

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Erling Haaland lead Manchester City to an epic victory, but he’s finally back on track! He scored his first goal since November in Man City’s latest face-off with Everton to lead his side to an epic 2-0 win. Haaland missed most of the action in December and January due to the foot injury that put him on the bench for about two months, but he’s finally back on track. He was on top of his game against Everton on Saturday and scored two goals late into the second half to lead Man City to their latest win. Pep Guardiola admitted he wasn’t happy with the team’s performance in the first half, but things significantly shifted once Haaland made his epic comeback. "In the first half our body language was not good, we were always complaining… The changes in the second half gave us another rhythm and of course, Erling is back. To have this player, when the ball is there from a corner, and the finishing was amazing," said Guardiola. Despite their latest triumph, Man City remains behind Liverpool in the Premier League rankings. The Reds cemented their domination with a 3-1 win against Burnley on Saturday night.
