Max Verstappen Wins Third Formula 1 Title at Qatar Grand Prix

Max Verstappen made it pretty clear it’s just a matter of time before he wins another World Championship following a series of dominant victories. His moment of triumph is finally here, and he secured another Formula 1 world title with a tense race at the Qatar Grand Prix. The race in Qatar utilized the sprint format, with pretty messy results. The series of accidents and collisions kept us on the edge of our seats, and Verstappen lost his lead, dropping to fifth on the first lap at one point. He eventually won after his team-mate Sergio Perez was eliminated in a three-way collision involving Esteban Ocon and Nico Hulkenberg. With victory in Qatar, Verstappen officially secured his third World Championships title and said this is his proudest moment yet. “I think the first one was the most emotional one because that’s when your dreams are fulfilled in F1. But this one definitely in my opinion has been my best year also for consecutive wins and stuff. The car itself has been probably in the best shape, as well,” said Verstappen post-race. The Red Bull driver secured his latest Formula 1 title with five races to spare. The season will officially conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 26, and it will be preceded by the United States Grand Prix, Mexico City Grand Prix, São Paulo Grand Prix, and Las Vegas Grand Prix.
