Novak Djokovic Beats Carlos Alcaraz to Reach French Open Final

The face-off between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz was one of the most exciting fixtures at this year’s French Open, and the winner has been crowned. Djokovic will continue his quest for the record-breaking 23rd men's major title after beating current no. 1 Alcaraz in the semi-final. Alcaraz struggled to play his best tennis after suffering a cramp in his right calf in the third set. He tried to regain composure in the fourth set, but it was already too late since Djokovic was in the lead, and he eventually scored a 6-3 5-7 6-1 6-1 win. The Serbian player congratulated Alcaraz for showing fighting spirit and hanging in after dealing with pain. "At this level, the last thing you want is cramps and physical problems. I feel for him, I feel sorry, I hope he can recover and come back pretty soon. He knows how young he is, he's got plenty of time ahead of him and he will win this tournament many times," said Djokovic after his victory. Djokovic is now set to face Casper Ruud in the French Open final, and this match could go down in history books. If he manages to beat the Norwegian player, he’ll win a record-breaking 23rd Grand Slam title.
