Phoenix Suns Reach 60-Win Landmark Against Denver Nuggets

The Phoenix Suns have been on fire since the start of the season, and their latest win over Denver Nuggets was another proof of their total domination. The Suns scored an epic 140-130 victory on Thursday night, reaching a 60-win landmark for this season. One of the key players responsible for this victory was Devin Booker, who scored a season-high 49 points and 10 assists for the Suns. It also didn’t hurt their chances that this game marked the return of Chris Paul, who was sidelined for over a month due to a broken right wrist. Paul finished the game with 17 points and 13 assists and he’s yet to go back to his top form, but his return gave the Suns newfound confidence they needed to defeat the Nuggets. "I think getting Chris back tonight gave us a ton of confidence. And Book having one of the best performances I've seen him have since I've been here... the fact that he's not in the MVP conversation is just somewhat silly," explained the team’s coach Monty Williams. This marks the 60th win this season for the Suns and they’re set to enter the playoffs as the top seed. It also marks their seventh consecutive win, and they’ll have a chance to continue their winning streak against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
